I didn't see that coming...

Something I didn't expect when we decluttered was how much more my children would read or look at books. They were more excited to open a book and discover what was inside. It didn't matter if they had read it before or not. Since I wasn't spending my day endlessly picking up toys and clutter, I had more time to read to them. I didn't see that coming, but it's just one of the many benefits we have been able to enjoy as a result of living with less.
They played better with each other, used their imagination more, and played outside so much more. These are the things of every parent's dreams! So, why do they seem hard to attain to so many of us? Maybe the answer is closer than you realize. Maybe living with less toys and clutter is just what your family needs to.
